Every year Boston University holds a conference on language development, bringing together an extraordinary number of researchers in the areas of language acquisition and language development to present and discuss their latest work. The conference web site is at http://www.bu.edu/linguistics/APPLIED/conference.html. Starting with the 19th of these annual conferences, held in November 1994, the proceedings are being published in 2-volume sets by Cascadilla Press. The proceedings are generally published less than 6 months after the papers are presented at the conference, making the proceedings an excellent way to stay current with research being done throughout the field.

Standing orders

Standing orders are welcome for the BUCLD Proceedings. Placing a standing order for the Proceedings of the Boston University Conference on Language Development is a hassle-free way to ensure that you will receive the proceedings every year as soon as they are available. Four to six weeks before the proceedings are to be published, we will mail you a reminder that you have a current standing order, along with an invoice for that year's pre-publication price. The books will be shipped as soon as the invoice is paid and the books are available.
