Linguistics Working Papers Abstracts is no longer being published. Cascadilla Press is continuing to collect abstracts from working papers series around the world, and these abstracts are being forwarded to Blackwell for inclusion in their Linguistics Abstracts series. We are very excited about this change, as it will mean even broader exposure for these abstracts. A directory of working papers series is being maintained by Cascadilla Press.
The back issues of LWPA are available as a set of three issues for $3 plus the cost of shipping through our shopping cart system only.
Each issue of LWPA includes abstracts of papers which have appeared in recent working papers volumes, as well as tables of contents for those volumes and information on the working papers series themselves. Ordering information is included, making it easy to actually acquire specific volumes. In addition, in the back of each issue of LWPA is a disk containing a text file of all the abstracts included in the current issue. The disk is a high-density DOS-formatted disk, which can be opened on most current Macs as well as almost all DOS and Windows computers. The text file can then be opened in a Mac, DOS, or Windows word processor, allowing readers to use the word processor's Find command to search for individual authors or particular topics.
